For nearly 40 years, The Genesis Therapy Center has been providing compassionate, accessible mental health services to individuals and families across Evergreen Park and the surrounding communities.
A proud Chamber member for the past three years, The Genesis Therapy Center is a nonprofit organization offering outpatient counseling for adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families—meeting people where they are with care that makes a difference.

What sets them apart? Many are surprised to learn that Genesis hosts regular fundraisers to help underwrite counseling services for individuals and families who may not be able to afford care. It’s a mission-driven approach that ensures support is available to those who need it most.
Recently, the organization celebrated a major milestone with its first-ever Board of Directors Retreat, bringing together leadership for a day of collaboration, fresh ideas, and future planning.
Looking ahead, Genesis Therapy Center is preparing for its upcoming Spring Fundraiser, while also expanding its impact through an externship program welcoming graduate students in the coming year.
