Meet a Member: Ornoff Insurance Group
Relationship-driven health insurance guidance rooted in community connection and local trust
Founded in 2019, Ornoff Insurance Group takes a personal, relationship-driven approach to helping individuals, families, and businesses navigate the often-complicated world of insurance coverage.
Owner Louis Ornoff is licensed in 19 states and works with clients to simplify the process of selecting Health, Dental, Vision, Life, and Medicare plans. In addition to serving individuals and families, he also helps local businesses design and improve employee benefit packages for teams ranging from 2 to 150 employees.
Recently joining the Evergreen Park Chamber of Commerce, Louis says his connection to the community runs much deeper than business alone.
“I chose Evergreen Park because my roots here run incredibly deep—I have been a part of this community for over 40 years through our family’s decorating business.”
That longstanding connection shapes the way he approaches his work today.
“Most people expect a standard, transactional sales pitch when they meet a health insurance agent,” Louis explains. “The surprise is that my business is actually built on local hospitality and genuine relationship-building.”
Rather than relying on impersonal sales tactics, Louis prefers to connect with clients over coffee or a casual meal in the community, learning about their families, goals, and priorities before helping them choose coverage that aligns with their needs and budget.
Outside of work, Louis recently celebrated a personal milestone: 13 years of studying classical piano. He credits the discipline and attention to detail required in music with helping shape the same thoughtful approach he brings to his business relationships.
Looking ahead, Louis is excited to become more involved in the Evergreen Park Chamber community by attending networking events and building relationships with fellow local business owners.
